Two days in a row, what's going on?

I've been hearing some comments that I should update this more often. I used to be much better (I think) so I'll try again.

This picture is from Dave's phone when we were doing our engagement shoot with Liz.

He's working 7 days a week, 10 hour days right now. The afternoon shift (4pm until 2:30am). I'm not a huge fan of this but I know it's only for a few weeks (I keep reminding myself of this) so we can do it. I have to tell you, it's not a lot of fun and I'm not even the one doing it. I don't have too many more weeks of school left, then the countdown to the wedding will be nice and low... like less than a month :) People tell me that they look back at their engagements and it goes by really quickly but that's not how it feels right now.

Anyway. It was a productive day at school today! That's a huge bonus this time of year. It's difficult to stay on track and get a lot accomplished when the students are in the "it's the end of the year, we don't have to work anymore" mode. {even though we still have 5 or so weeks left}
Wednesday in my class is map day, my favorite day of the week. That makes it an easy day to teach because every class starts off with the map and in some cases, the presidents too. I'm meant to be a (history and) geography teacher because I just really enjoy maps. {Yes, I do realize I'm a nerd.}

Maps are fun! I also like to be geographically orientated. I think it's awesome when people embrace themselves, and thier interests. rather than trying to follow what's cool. whatever that is;)

LOL. I just realized...coming from the person who competed w/ you to "get the best grade" contests, in Mr. Henderson's history class. Okay, maybe we are nerds.:D

Haha, I forgot about that Juli! I didn't realize it's been going on for so long (has it really been ~13 years?!)

Embrace your inner 'nerd'! There is something really cool about maps though...I just realized I said "really cool" when talking about maps...guess I would fall under the nerd category too:)
